An AI solution shaped around your work.

When an off-the-shelf tool does not fit, I help you define and build a focused custom solution. We start by checking the problem, the available data, and what a useful first version needs to do.

Possible starting points

A searchable assistant for internal documents, a tool that prepares drafts for review, or an internal application that brings a workflow into one place. These are possibilities to assess together; feasibility depends on your data, access permissions, and expected level of reliability.

Prototype before a wider rollout

A focused prototype tests the riskiest assumption with representative examples. We agree what success looks like, review failures as well as successes, and use that evidence to decide whether to continue.

Testing and human control

AI output can be wrong. We discuss what users need to verify, where source references would help, and which actions require approval. My software QA background informs testing the important workflows and edge cases.

Delivery and handover

Before development, we define the first version, integration boundaries, access requirements, and acceptance checks. We also agree hosting, documentation, ownership terms, and any support arrangement.

Choosing between custom and existing software

An existing product may cover the need with less upkeep. Consulting can stand on its own: we compare options and you receive practical recommendations without committing to a build.

Before we start

Do I need to know which AI model to use?

No. Start with the problem and examples of the results you need. Model and tool choices follow from quality, cost, data requirements, and the constraints of the project.

Can you guarantee that AI answers are correct?

No. We can define checks, evaluate representative examples, and put human review around consequential outputs. Whether the remaining limitations are acceptable depends on the use case.

How long will a project take?

Timing depends on scope, integrations, and how ready the data is. We establish a realistic plan after the initial assessment rather than promise a fixed duration before understanding the work.

Start with your workflow.

Describe the task and the result you need. We can work out a useful next step together.
